Will the aerostar axels fit my 7.5 rear end? Some guy in the jy told me they are a direct swap, and just toss on 5 lug ranger drums. Is this true?

ewww.. This could be a nasty one.
I believe ChuckW had posted information in a thread on turboford.net about the 86 TC 7.5 was a 1 off odd ball and the axle bearing location or something stupid was specific to that year, not really so much the overall length of the housing.
I have not torn into my car to remove the factory 4 lug axles as of yet and convert to disks but would suggest further research before you get stuck with a rearend all apart and not having the correct pieces.
