Adjusting the VAM, good or bad?

After reading though all this, i didnt see a straight answer, is it safe to adjust it a few clicks or not? On the first link, the 6th post down xchief1320 got 18 more RWhp. Pretty good!

Maybe you could read that again. I see one HP and a warning that you need some way to track A/F

I got a good article on how to straighten one out after it been f...d with. Let me know if you want it.

OOPS! i ment torque, so what are you saying, its not good to mess with it, i have an A/F gauge in the car, mines fine, i didn't touch it yet? But i'll take the article just in case.

I'd also love a copy of the article my self. Hey Harv, Ware MA is a terribly boring place eh? A buddy of mine lives there. Guess its better than living in Lynn and working in Lawrence like me though, lol...
84(quad koni's) SVO sunroof/leather 9W (rarer than most). 88 5-Spd TC; ported e6, ranger roller, 2.5"dp > dual 2.5" dynomax ultraflows no cats, boost 20psi, T3, sequential turn signals.

i hate to say this, but the narrowband oxygen sensor you're likely using (stock) and gauge itself are just not good ways to track your A/F ratio. If you are serious, you need a wideband to tune off of.

It has been said many times that the A/F gauge gives people a false sense of security.

i would not touch the vaf with an adjustment. But that is just my small opinion.
