I just noticed today that the T-3 I got off this parts car has an adjustable stock style actuator on it.How do I want to go about adjusting this thing to set it up to work with a gillis valve?Anyone done this yet?

SHorten the rod for the WG to open at higher boost.

It still wont work as well as a GIllis, though, and be a much bigger PITA to adjust. Even if you shorten the rod, the WG will still open slowly as the set pressure is reached causing slightly longer spool up to max boost. The Gillis doesnt let any boost press get to the WGA (keeping the WG fully closed) until the set press is reached.

So,do I set the arm so it will just reach the peg on the wastegate and it will be set at the stock setting?

Like any WGA, you want the rod lenght to just hold the WG closed when everything is assembled. You have to decide where you want it to open.
