Full of questions this morning doing a lot of internet searching usually leads to nothing on the TC, but I found an adjustable drag shock listed for 87-88 thunderbird want to find out if it will work for the TC. Its listed on Summit Racing and is part number CEE-2806 by Competition Racing. Most of the time it will say not for TC, but this one list nothing and the sales reps said there book shows no comments on it. One cool looking shock and since my choices are so limited would make a fine replacement if it will work.

Why are your choices ltd?
You've eliminated KYB, Bilstien, Gabriel, Monroe have you?
I wouldn't put a drag shock on a street daily driver.

yes ive eliminated everyone but gabriel and monroe the others are no long available i checked almost everywhere possible, and called the manufactures themselves. Monroe and Gabriel are the only ones left and well if I have to I will, I'll just expect a crappy ride and servicing them constantly. Monroes arent known for quality shocks, like the guy i talked to yesterday who has a set on his expedition, had to replace them twice in the last year, there just crap.

I didn't mind my Sensatracs when I had em on. Pretty good ride for the money.
Always wanted to spend the $ and try KYB or something but I got a set of PRC's and they are fun.
