This guy has over 30 of them on ebay, I picked one up by putting in a bid and asking him to end the auction early if I paid a bit more.

If anyone has been pondering an adjustable fpr but didn't wanna shell out the $60-100+ ... well ... now there's no excuse! They're new in the box too.

Maybe I just don't see it, but this AFPR doesn't seem to have a place to connect a vacuum line.

If these will work with our cars I'd be very interested in getting one also. So, thanks for the post.

I think those are what used to be the Holley AFPR. There is an adjustment screw inside the vac nipple to adjust the pressure. My personal experience with the Holley / Accel AFPRs isnt good. Years back, I put one on my Tbird 5.0. Lasted 6 months before it started to leak externally at the crimp. Sent it back, got a replacement, which leaked right out of the box. Switched to Kirbans after that experience, and have had zero problems with the Kirbans. The biggest hassle with the Holley / Accel wasnt so much the the leaks, but the hassle of replacement. Replacing a FPR on a 2.3 is a 10 minute job. On a 5.0, it is more like a 2 hour job.

Sorry I guess I should have mentioned more about these. I've worked with them before and never had a leak, but that was just one of them. I've got one on order and can let people know if there are problems.

The vacuum line hooks to where you would expect it, but inside that nipple (when the vacuum line is off) is an adjustment screw.

The neat part about these regulators, is that they'll slip by a SMOG check without a problem because they look stock. The vacuum line covers up the adjustment screw and externally they look normal.

All adjustable FPR's are smog-illegal, so if you live in virginia or california or other states that do em ... this is the one I'd use.

Did anyone wind up getting an FPR from that guy on ebay? Are they any good? Looks like I missed the boat (forgot about it.) [Image: frown.gif]
