I am getting an ABS code 23 on the 88 TC that I just bought. I looked this up and it means a problem with the LH front outlet valve. This is located in the solenoid valve block assembly that is attached to the front of the actuation assembly or master cylinder. First, I assume this part is obsolete and I will have to get a functioning used one and install it. Second, the Ford manual says to take the whole master cly assembly off the car to change the solenold valve body. If I have got to do that I could just swap out the old master cly for one that is working. The manual also says to use new square-cut O-rings when installing another solenoid valve body. I wonder if these O-rings are still available? Has anybody changed this valve body while the master cly is still on the car? Does anybody have a working ABS master Cly laying around that they want to sell? Anybody got any sugestions or pointers?
Thanks
