I've got an 86 TC.
The foglight covers were lost/stolen before I got the car and I'd like to replace them.
My question arrizes when I see pictures of the old covers on the car have white lettering on them and see that covers still in the box (never been used) on ebay don't; however they're identical aside from this. I'd like to get the right stuff.
Lookit:
car before I bought it:

'new' covers:

Did someone paint the lettering on the missing covers, or where there several different types?

Incase you care,
this is the car now... only difference is the previous owner painted the grill black due to the original paint coming off.

Thanks

My 83's original covers had the white lettering. I would buy the new eBay pieces and just paint the letters white.

Nice TC BTW, beautiful color.

That's a gorgeous '86! Here's a photo of the foglight covers that came on my '86. I just sold them. http://natomessageboard.com/uploads/0000...covers.jpg
