Where is the coolant temperature sensor located?Isnt it supposed to be on the radiator?

Which one? There are two.
The ECT, engine coolant sensor that feeds data to the EEC is located between the center two fuel injectors on the upper side of the lower intake, next to the head.

The Temp. sender for the guage is located on the located on the driver's side of the block near the back.

what feeds into the threaded hole on the drivers side of the radiator?

If it is an automatic that is where the trans cooler line would go. If it what I think you are talking about. If you have a T5 then it is not used.
