I recommended to J.R Granatelli (Paxton Products) that he place this ad in the magazine resulting from triple class winners using Paxton Blowers. This was a great day for me, it was a very hot day and a lot of tough cars to beat. The three of us were great friends at the time and a day I will always remember fondly.

Congratulations! A worthwhile win for a great car and a deserving driver.
I'll withhold comment on those pants! [Image: biggrin.gif]

Yeah I know they look funky, (the pants) but they were 100% cotton (fire retardant)and cool to wear, and it was about 112 degrees that day.

Ed,
Was that your wifes TC off to the right? Seems I remember reading where you had done one up for her as well...

Nope, the following year she drove the white one at the same track with little slicks and did a 380 degree spin at mid track, just brushing the right guardrail with the left front of the car. Mostly cosmetic damage ($875 worth). I drove the car set up the same at another track and made 3 wicked passes and decided to put it on the trailer and get rid of those tires. She did have the red one that is on our link page, although the truth be told I always liked the red one better, it was noticeably lighter with more manual type stuff.
