I just got an A/F guage( autometer 3375) and was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to hook it up. It has 3 wires a black, red, and purple. My oxygen sensor also has three wires. The car is an 87 turbo coupe. Thanx.

red to +12
Black to ground
purple to O2 sensor. I had 2 whites and a black from the O2 sensor. Pretty sure I connected the purple wire to the black one. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Ok after the harness my purple wire is spliced into the black with purple striped wire from the harness. I just stripped it back soldiered the purple wire on and wrapped some electrical tape around it.

Thanx steve, it works great! When it's in closed loop it bounces back and forth between LEAN and the top of STOICH, it doesn't enter the RICH bars at all. When i get on her, it goes slightly RICH(1 bar green), does this sound right?

Okay my A/F guage doesn't even go into rich at all when i step on it, i even turned the fuel pressure up to 44psi(with the vacuum unhooked) and nothing changed. The cars stock ihi builds boost but the car has no pull, it feels like it a N/A engine.

Any ideas?
Please!

I have had some similar problems where the car is building boost but I'm not getting power - I turned my fuel pressure DOWN to about 38 (from 43) and that helped - You don't want to run it too lean, but too rich is not good either, it kills power. Check your plugs for fouling too.
