Yes they will fit.
I have never seen them on a T-Bird, but if you plan on doing this, I advise against it!
Send me the wheels and I'll put them on my TC to show all what it looks like.
I have some pony wheels from a 91-93 Stang on my TC now.
If you decided against sending me the wheels, PLEASE post some pics!!!!!

They are 17x8 4-lug BUT they have a different backspacing than the TBirds do. The 93 Cobra used the 87-88TC rear axle/brakes, but the wheels are set it about 3/4" more than std Mustang/Tbird wheels, so they would be inset more on your Bird...I would not do it, and they may even rub the front strut. The 87-88 TC's used the std 11" Mustang front rotors w/ the longer control arms, but on the 93 Cobra Ford used the std Mustang control arms and used a rotor w/ a taller hat to make up the difference for what ever reason....so they most likely will not even fit the car. They won't fit any other Mustang w/ the std brakes....

Chuck is right -- the Tbirds and Mustangs have different backspacing.

Actually, the 93 Cobra is the bastard child of the bunch. The rest of the Mustangs and TBirds share the same backspacing, and use the same wheels interchangably. (ie the turbines and the 10-holes).

OK,
Chuck and Jeff knows more than I.
I still think they would look cool on a TC.
Isn't there anything that can be interchanged to make them fit?

Here is what I am doing: My original TC wheels look like crap next to my new paint, and when I looked into the cost of having them refinished, and a few dents and bad scrapes taken out of the rim area (previous owner did it, not me!), it turns out new wheels will cost about the same as restoring the old ones. I called Performance Wheel Outlet (they have adds in MM&FF every month) to ask about their Cobra R replicas. The salesman told me about the different Tbird / Mustang backspace, and he told me they would custom make me a set of the correct backspace wheels for the same price as the standard Mustang backspace. Only down side is that it will take a month to get them. So, I will soon have a set of the correct backspace Cobra R style wheels (and also be $600 poorer).

I just put a set of 93 cobra wheels on my 88 turbo coupe. I used the 93 cobra rotors and installed the abs sensor from the orginal rotors. On the rear I had a set of wheel adapters made to correct for the offset. They look great!!!!!
