Thinking about purchasing a set set for the bird. Will the difference in offset and backspacing affect anything? Current snowflakes are trashed.

I believe 93 Cobra wheels are 5 bolt like the SVO mustang. I think you are good on the offset. So if you convert your TC to 5 lug than yeah...

Cheap method is to get new 4 bolt wheels off ebay.

I believe if you install any wider tire than 255 on the back you will need to remove the quadshock with the 9" wide wheels.

From what I've found so far they were 4 lug. Actually found some at latemodelrestoration.com that have the 4 x 4.25 bolt pattern for $119 per rim. Don't like the Cobra R rims because it seems like everybody has them.

Anyone know whats the widest tire I can go with on these these rims? I want to go 255's at least on the rear.

Wheel replica sells cobra R rims in 4 lug 17X8, 17X9, and 17X10 for almost the same price you are planning on spending. They look sick too!

I have a set of 17x8 and 17x10 SC's on my 86 and I always get compliments.
