88 Turbo coupe rebuild

I'm currently restoring my 88 Turbo coupe. I would like to up the power level to about 500 to 600. I understand this will cost major bucks to do, but want to know if anyone else has done this and what to do and what to avoid? Just looking for input and opinions. I know the EEC4 will have to go, I'm considering a holly or big stuff system etc etc. So, share some opinions with me if you would. Thanks

Stingers pimp will work for an eec. Then BIG injectors, and a huge Turbo.
