Hi, new to the whole turbo coupe scene. Currently been given the opportunity to build one and have some questions. Any input and any of the following questions is greatly appreciated. I should mention I want this to be a street reliable track ready car just nothing too wild.

•Gutting upper and lower intake worth it?
•Switch to a t3 or keep ihi
•Can I mount the stock Intercooler as front mount temporarily?
•mild cams? Hydraulic?
•stock throttle body? what could I run?
•changing pulley size going to make a difference?
•how much power can I make with how little money?
•how much timing should I run?
•bigger fuel pump?

1 yes
2 ihi is quick spool up but less power, t3 longer spool up more power i have a T3 on my 88,love it
3 if you really want to, going through all that a cheap bigger one will do more
4 yes boport, esslinger, crane, motorsport, they are out there, all hydraulic, roller upgrade is best. solid is heavy lift cams
5 it works, upgrades require modifying other throttle bodies using adapters
6 not really
7 13# max on stock parts
8 you best first modification for long term results

Thanks for the feedback, e6 is the better manifold to put the t3 on due to air flow correct?if so are they the same bolt pattern? And from bone stock what’s the best first upgrades? Also if I run a walbro 255 will I need a fuel regulator?

Yes, the E6 has a larger cast opening at the turbo mount, and is a stronger casting. Same bolt pattern from the IHI to the T3. From bone stock, get a K&N cone filter and a 3" downpipe.
