I have recently decided that I must sell the only car I ever loved.  I bought this 88 Turbo Coupe as a company demonstrator in 1990.  It has 147,000 miles on it now and is still in good running condition, I think.  The car has only been driven 150 miles in the last 4 years, but any time I tried to drive it, it ran very well. I bought another house in 2014, remodeled it, moved into it in 2016, added on to it, and have not taken or had time to drive and baby the car.  It was kept in a garage until 2016 but has since had to sit out in the weather. The paint is quickly deteriorating and it needs someone to give it the TLC that this car deserves.  It will require a total paint job soon. This car is still a great project car and has lots of potential for anyone who loves the Turbo Coupes.

It has just about every option that was offered back then -- 5 speed manual, electronic ride control, power windows, power locks, sun roof, power driver and passenger seats, keyless entry, automatic headlight dimmer, fog lights, graphic equalizer on sound system, aftermarket 10 CD changer in the trunk -- to name a few.

It is mostly original and has not been "messed with" by anyone.  It has never had any major damage, never driven in snow or on salty roads, and no rust that I know of. The left front fender was replaced in the 90's after some kid backed his big pick-up into it. It was bumped in the back end from another driver who couldn't get stopped for a red light -- broke the fiberglass bumper liner and one bumper shock absorber which were replaced, but the bumper cover was repaired.  Aluminum wheels are original but need refinished.  The air conditioner does not work -- compressor runs but leaks refrigerant in the heater coil I think.  It has had mufflers and tailpipes replace twice and clutch replaced twice. Never any engine work except regular maintenance items - original turbo still works good.  The dash has 3 small cracks in the plastic. The seats are faded a little from the sun but still in great condition for its age. The external plastic/rubber trim is showing some age but not too bad. The rubber trim on the rear window came loose so I put it in the trunk for now.

I'm asking only $2500 because I want someone to buy this who wants to rebuild a beautiful classic and keep it alive and active.

The car is located in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. Additional pictures can be emailed.

That is a really good deal. You may want to add location? I am guessing West Virginia from your screenname.
