I just bought coolant hoses from NAPA all of these part numbers are good:

NAPA part #s 9807 and 7296.
NAPA part #s 9807 and 7296.
7296 measures approx. 2 1/2" X 3 3/4"
9807 measures approx. 4 1/2" X 6 1/2"

U-Shaped cooling hose/intake
Part # 10304.
Also the radiator hoses:
Main radiator coolant hoses
NAPA upper – 8048
NAPA lower – 8009

Autozone has the 90 degree bend hoses:
Part Number: M-4101

Car Quest has the 90 degree bend hoses:
RBR 28466

Still looking for the Turbo coolant hose:
Ford: E7SZ-8A506-A

Waterpump, t-stat, plugs, and timing belts all done. Waiting for delivery of the silicon turbo coolant hoses.

Upgrading my lights too. Just got new headlights and fog lights to install. I also have a Pro 5.0 shifter to upgrade the T5.

Working on the oil cooler hoses and the lower intake hose. Does anyone have any suggestions to speed installation of these coolant hoses?

If your name is Houdini, you should have no problem Big Grin

If the engine is still in the car with the head and intk manifolds in place, working from underneath seems to work best for me.

Use a dremel and cut off wheel to cut off the old hose clamps. Don't nick the pipes.

You can get cut to length hoses from NAPA. See http://natomessageboard.com/ultimatebb.p...086#000000
for details. The U shaped hose to the lower intake may not be available but you can make one up out of the right sized heater hose. Be sure to clean out the inside of that hose fitting on the lower intake. They often become blocked/partially blocked and that can cause problems with the ECT sensor between the two center fuel injectors.

Since your under there, clean the ground attached to the lower bracket, front driver's side.

Pete,

I'm not Houdini so I'll just have to suffer through it! It'll be worth it as these hoses are almost 20 years old. No leaks so far but I want to ensure the reliability of my TC since I plan on taking it on a couple of long road trips later this year.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to get the U shaped hose from NAPA. NAPA had it in stock right on the shelf.

I'll clean out the hose fitting and clean the ground connection.

We're tackling the lower intake hose and oil cooler hoses starting tomorrow. Just ordered the PCV valve from Ford too.
