Pete had to delete my user name so I could repost since I seemed to forget my password. That's a hazard of being on the downside of heading toward 60. I've had the TC since Octber 2001 (about 20,000 of its 130,000 miles). Maybe a better way to say it is two tuneups. I can't believe Ford quit making the perfect car.
Today, I had the cooling fans stay on after the ignition was turned off (twice). Taking the ground cable off until the car cooled down allowed the stuck relay or what ever to reset. My buest guess is a faulty relay. Both fans were working. The car runs and cools perfectly. Where is the master power relay on an 88. The FAQ seems to say both right and left strut towers? Has anyone else had this short of problem. Can individual relays be replaced or must the whole module be replaced?
