88 tc brake line help

Hello,
I have a customer who owns a 1988 tc. Its the 5-speed model. I am currently doing the car over for him. I've replaced cabin floor sections, trunk floor sections, rocker patches, fuel pump, have door bottoms to do and still plenty of other work before paint.

While it was sitting in my shop one of the brake lines developed a leak just under the master cylinder. I found a company that makes s.s. brake line kits for this car. So I purchased them to install. The back went ok. Now I am on to the front and I am have an issue of no room to get them off the block under the master cylinder.

Are there any tricks to this ... or should I go after taking rhe intake manifold off to give me the room ?

Also, the float for the gas tank is a seperate part itself. The top of this one it rotting away and we believe it is not working correctly any longer. I can not locate a new or replacement part. Does anyone have any info in this or of a good one in working order for sale ? Hoping to get this thing revived for him.

Thanks

No clue on where to get the fuel sender flange, but I believe it is a standard size Ford flange used on many different models. As for the sender itself, the one from a late 80's Tempo (standard Ford 10 ohm full, 75 ohm empty resistance range) can be removed from its existing flange and welded to the correct side flange.

Could always loosed the MC to firewall mounting bolts and pull the MC toward the front a little for more clearance??

Who makes a SS brake line kit? Price?
