88 Tbird turbo back seat courtesy lights

Hi fellow turbo owners! - 

The small round interior courtesy lights for back seat in my 88 Turbo remain on after I start car and put in drive. Does anyone have troubleshooting help? Thanks!

might have an issue with the switch on the back of the console. Maybe disconnect the switch to see if they turn off.
