88 red on red with Moonroof wanted

Of course my insurance low balled me so I'm in the proving phase right now. They want to give me 2k after my deductable..told them no thanks so we're still talking.

I am ready to buy someone's 88 tc, red inside and out with a moonroof and all options but leather (not a fan of leather). The body/paint must be perfect (usual wear and tear ok). Don't care as much about the interior. I'd prefer low miles, June or later manufacture, and a 5 speed (355 rear gears). I will arrange shipping. Right now I'll consider all prices. I'm all over autotrader and ebay and cars.com; if you see one locally please let me know.

I too like the Burgundy/red T/C combination, although I always seem to end up with the Burgundy/Charcoal combination.
I'm on my 3rd now, but this one has leather. Anyway, just curious as to why you have to have one with a later than June production date. Just curious.

I don't really have any good reason for wanting that now that I think about it except for it being an original LA3 computer and all that; which is no big deal. Just thought it'd be cool to own the last of the last production run of the car.

I'm still not 100% sure if I'll rebuild what I have and keep it either. It was built 2 days after my 16th birthday, the day I got my drivers license so that's kind of sentimental also. If it had a sunroof there wouldn't be any question of keeping it.

You can always have an aftermarket sunroof installed. I'm sure any dealer can have it sent out or give you the info to contact them. ASC is the premier sunroof/moonroof for the dealers.

I like the sentimenal reason for keeping the car. After searching for over a year looking for the one I bought new in 87, I opted to re-create it with my current 88. This one has it all & more. Good Luck in your search
