Is anyone or has anyone run their car WITHOUT the hydraulic slave cylinder cover? If so did it cause any problems other than water getting in?

if enough water gets in there to be a problem, you better get out of the car quick!

If you need a cover and cant find one, you could easily fab one up out of scrap sheet metal. Its just a cover.... not 100% weather tight. Only attaches with one bolt.

I have one on my other car but I wasn't sure if the cover help hold the cylinder in place also. I'll give it a try without one and see what happens.
