I found a nice set of 17" rims that will bolt 4-108 but lug pattern with a 40mm offset I know thats twice the offset of the stock rims but is there a chance i culd use them?? Maybe a spacer?

When all else fails, just ask the seller/retailer/whoever, if the wheels will bolt up and fit properly. If they say yes, ask again with slightly different wording, and tell them you want a guarantee in writing that they'll fit properly, and that if they don't- you'll be refunded in full. That'll weed'em out pretty quickly.
