I own a 1987 5 speed t-coupe. Is it possible to swap computer set up with an 1988, so I would get full boost in all gears? Just thinking out loud.

Just put a boost control valve on it, which, for several reasons is a better way to go. You can get more boost and get it much lower in the rpm range than with the factory computer and BCS.

You only need two tools in life; WD-40 and Duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should use WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, use Duct Tape.

Bypass the BCS.
Cut the lines that go into it and connect them together with a vacuum splice...you'll get full boost in all gears.

Pete,
Is this boost control ok to use on 140,000mi engine. I have rebuilt the top half a few years back, everything new except for ripping apart lower half and turbo, which was in perfect shape at 122,000. Just don't want to f up my daily driver.
