I just got new speakers.
The factory wires have 2 for each side (2 on the Pos+ and 2 on the Neg-.

My question is, do I twist both Pos+ together and both Neg- together to hook to the new speakers?

I've just never seen that set up before.

Why is it like that anyway?

Thanks

It allowed them to use one harness for premium and, and non premium sound. Just leave the two "+" together, and the two "-" together, and you will be fine

Not sure what you mean. Will you have sound? Not sure, I will take a look at the wiring diagrams and see. I f you are asking whether or not the EQ will still peform its function of allowing you to adjust the levels of different frequency bands; That is not doctated by which wires you hook to

Only one set of the wires actually connect to the amp or radio. The other set dead ends somewhere in the car....

Your best bet is to just connect them both
