Are the pistons in our T/C cars forged or cast? What is the availability of pistons, and are they available in oversize? Is the measurement in metric or standard? Looking for 2 pistons for an '87, but don't know what to order until I find out the above info. Thanks, David

Forged. You can get pistons like JE,Wiesco,Speedpro,Keith black etc.Diamond pistons are the repros of the factory forged pistons, which seem to hold up better then others. You could also find someone parting an engine and get some good used pistons. They are measured in standard like .020-.030-.040.If the bores are good then stay with stock piston size.

If you end up needing a standard piston, I have one NOS Ford piston still in the box.
