i have an 87 turbo coupe. the starter was out so i had to roll it off and pop the clutch to start it. i accidentally popped the clutch in first gear while i was rolling backwards. car wont start anymroe. i have a starter now and it just turns over, it wont fire. what could be wrong with it? timing? coil? any help would be greatly appreciated

See if the dist rotor turns when you crank it. If it doesn't turn, suspect the timing belt broke or teeth on the belt stripped

It Still could have jumped some teeth without breaking the belt.
Do you have the cam belt cover off? You can ck and see if the cam and crankshaft pulleys line up on the timing marks correctly.

The inertia switch on your 87TC is located in the trunk, behind the grey fuzzy panels on drivers side tail light panel.
