I reviewed the link vs his website....I guess buy it on ebay...saves a few bucks..

Rick Gillis is a super nice guy...been using his 2.3T G1 boost controller for 10 years...works perfectly...

Bcs disconnected and it pulled 15 to 18 pS I easily. I will go ahead and get the valve with it above., it has been a long time since I worked on a turbo. Early 90s to be exact, on a ford probe GT

waiting for the valve, i decided to take the ol' bird to the store today. About halfway there i had to get on the gas a bit as a tractor trailer came over the hill as i was pulling out... PSI hit 18ish and i got off it quick, and then lost engine power and it wouldn't start, scared me to death. The turbo had blew the intercooler off the intake! Previous owner had replaced the IC at one point (gave me the old one, said it works still just wanted a newer one) and apparently didn't tighten it down very well. All is well now, but i can't wait to get the valve on, hesitant to drive it without. May go ahead and hook it all back up and ride with little to no boost til the valve comes in.

Do your IC have a brace mounted to the two bolt holes on the front face? The brace is a big help to keeping the IC in place with higher boost levels. See the gold brace on the red car, left side picture here: http://turbotbird.com/techinfo/techarticles.html

Also, just found out the thread on my intercooler is stripped on the left bolt. Should be interesting, but worst comes to worst i have another intercooler but will do a little work and see if i can get a bolt to hold.

18psi....I remember the first time I did that on an IHI TC...lots of fun. But without supporting mods..bad idea :-)
