what is the stock size of the 86 TC im in not mistaken its a 15 isnt it

i think it's a 215/65-R15. i like to use a 225/65-R65 (this might be the stock size). check the door or the owners manual for the info.

He means 225/65-R15, not 225/65-R65 unless they are going on the new BigFoot.

Stock was 225/60R15. I run 235/60R15, and have no problems. In fact, I just got two Yokohama Avid S/T (T rated) of that size in about three hours ago to replace the ones that have been on there for a couple of years. Great price at Tire Rack, and a great 3 season tire; not that great if you get caught in an unexpected snowstorm near Flagstaff while driving from Fort Worth to California.
