86 tc throttle body on 88 tc

Can anyone tell me if you can use the throttle body from an 86 model tc on the 88 model? If so is there any downside on performance.

I'm not quite sure ? I have seen some TB's that have a vac nipple fitting in the bottom boss of the TB (instead of underneath the upper Intake) for the PCV ? What are these from ?
