Why did you get a stock unit? The walbro 190lph is about the same price and a good safety if you decide to step things up.

I want to get it running by the end of this weekend and I am not sure I could get an aftermarket pump here in time since I would have to order it. This one was in stock.

Just a heads up: I have seen some FP gauges that dont depress the pin in the schraeder valve enough to open it and therefore read zero pressure even when pressure is present in the system. To check this, remove the valve core using a tire valve tool, reattach the gauge, and see if it reads any pressure. Reason I bring this up is you originally said you did have fuel squirting out, which means at least some pressure.

This is what I have http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16174

I am using the adaptor that is pictured in the top left to attach to the schrader valve.

When I tested my fuel pressure before I was showing 0 at the rail, but I also tested the port that is on the firewall in the top left corner of the engine bay, and that was reading about 3psi then it would fall off very quickly...not really sure if this is a feed or retun line but I tested it anyway.

Also, as far as fuel squirting out when I push the valve, I think a better description would be that it "flowed" out. Fuel came out but did not shoot into the air at all, it just got all over the test port and that area.

That's the one I have and it works fine. That port on the firewall is also the feed line.

I got it running! I dropped the fuel tank and dumped all of the gas out of it. When I pulled the pump I noticed that the rubber fuel line going from the pump to the top metal nipple was split in several places. I took a few pictures if you all would like to see, but I am not sure how to get them from my phone to here. I ended up replacing the pump (Walbro 3something) with a stock replacement. I did not let it run that long because I did not have time to mess with it. But I will report back more once I have time.

Does anyone have a fues diagram? The car does not have an owners manual and I am having a few problems that I am hoping are fuses. i.e. horn does not work, power seats don't work...etc.

Thanks man! I got it. I am wondering if the 88 diagram will work for my 86?

The rubber line from the pump to the flange splitting isnt as unusual as you would think. I hope that submersible fuel line was used for the repair, as "regular" fuel line from the parts store wont hold up to being submerged in gasoline.
