Im starting to fix up my 84 TC , and im debating to either restore it with some mild performance mods, or go all out and make it a street machine... whats your opinion?

I'd vote to restore it. They are getting real rare.

Restore it! The '83-'86 body style is awesome.

ok, if i restore it and mod it mildly.. would intercooling it be kinda against the books sense it never came intercooled? i was thinking of skiping the intercooler, but puting in a BOV, and 3" downpipe, 3" single exhaust following the stock path... and the computer is bad, so im replacing it with a pc1 with browntops

Maybe you could find one of the Ford Motorsports FMIC that were sold for the 83-86
They occasionally come up for sale on E-bay

If you need some motivation somewhere on here there is a really nice looking 83-86 turbo coupe repainted blue...its somewhat custom/modified but it looks really nice...made me start liking that body style again. (not that there aren't other nice ones..just i think this particular one is really nice) good luck. Wish i had a link or something im sure someone knows who/what car im talking about i think it has 5 star wheels on it.

I am getting my 84 TC restored as I find parts.I just picked up a real nice 83 TC that has no power options and is real rare.
My 84 will be stock on the outside but is highly built on the inside.I am shooting for 400HP.I did set it up so I can go back to stock some day. These cars are getting more rare so I say restore it as best as possible.
