Well, for the first time in 4 years ( I had to look back in my repair logs to see when I pulled the 5.0 out of it ) my 83 TC clone moved under it's own power. I put in the clutch cable yesterday and today after topping off the p/s fluid, I drove it about 1 1/2 miles to the gas station to put some gas in it.
I didn't really get into too much as I still have a couple things to do like get an air filter, actually put a connector between the turbo inlet and the tube that dumps the bypass valve back into the inlet (after the VAM) and replace the alternator that I'm sure is fried. I had forgotten how tight (and noisy) this car was [Image: biggrin.gif] can't wait to start driving it a bit more here in the near future. I'll be very interested to see what this engine set-up does. (Nothing fancy, just more than I had done in the past)
Just had to share
