Okay, I have an 85 TC that I just swapped an 88 TC rear end into. Now the brakes are fine until I start the car and go almost all the way to the floor. I have the 88 TC master cylinder and have gutted the proportioning valve and installed an adjustable baer one in the rear line. It still does it. I read something today that may be my problem but I am not sure. The 88 MC has 3 ports. The 85 had 2. One is capped. Will running the third line to the left front brake and capping the port at the proportioning valve fix my problem?

that capped line is your problem. the link above has a conversion kit in it. or you could just go buy a 2 port mc. the link tells you which one you can buy too. =)
