Hey guys, I found a beautiful 79 pace car with a 2.3 turbo. Are they the same shortblock? It is carb'd, but I will just convert it. Any constructive ideas.
Lets Role.

That website has lots more 2.3 turbo specific info. Not that we dont want to help, just all of our cars are fuel injected. The carbed turbo is a different engine, although there is some interchangeable parts. Dont ask me what though.
Good luck,

They just had a post over at TurboFord.net about carbing a later fuel injected car. Pretty cool stuff. Primaries cruise and the secondaries are jetted rich for the boost.
Cool stuff, check it out. They are lots of help there, too.

My first turbo was a 79 Capri. Had more vacuum hoses than a dog has fleas. Fun car but a nightmare to work on.

That car will be worth more if you keep it original...
