I tried a search using the subject line above, and didn't find any matches. Strange, because I have done this search before with results. Anyway, I am working on rebuilding the 8.8 rearend for my car. It dawned on me that many Ford products used this rearend, and most of them are 5 lug. There must be some direct replacement 5 lug axles available. Anyone researched this before?

There is a lot of past info but it a lot of it doesn't turn up in a search on "5 lug"

See if this post helps any.

Thanks Pete. I read this post sometime back and was surprised I couldn't find it in search. What search term should I use the next time.

When you searched, did you search "Subject Only" or "Entire Message" I used Entire Message, but I got a lot of unwanted stuff too.

I haven't played with it it maybe try "lug" only searching the entire message.
