3d printed pull strap covers

hi all,

I've been working with my buddy on these for a long time...these are more complicated to recreate than one would think - lots of geometry to them and getting the 'chrome' end lips to print correctly took a lot of tweaking. I've had several people test our prototypes and everyone has been pretty happy with them. BJL was a tester.

I have 10 sets of these printed in ABS. there's a very minor flaw in the smaller lip that most won't notice, but I do, thus I'm selling them at a reduced price. I found the correct material to print these in, if these sell well enough to justify the cost...

$22 for 2
$37 for 4

ABS is strong but not very flexible. I'd recommend NOT beating these onto the pull straps or you risk cracking them. Paint/Dye them any color you wish!

I personally think these fit better and tighter than the OEM covers so they don't pop off as often. Message me or reply in here in you're interested in a set.

shoot me a message if you're interested in a set!

**Please note that these WILL NOT work if your car has the chrome clips. That style uses a shorter cover, which I plan on making too.**

Hi Andrew, these look great! I'm not sure if you're trying to sell these or if you're just wanting to provide a way for people to get replacements.
I don't need any at this time fortunately. But if in the future I ever needed to I do have a 3D printer.
Are you planning on releasing the files needed to print them if someone has a 3D printer? I understand it probably took a lot of work to get these as good as you have. If you're wanting to sell them and keep the files you worked hard on to yourself I would understand completely.

I'll be selling these. I have money and time tied up into the testing of prototypes and purchase of the design file (my buddy designed them for me). eventually I'll put them up on the sites we sell parts on: https://tbirdcougarparts.com

I don't have any plans on releasing the design file, sorry.
