I believe it should just drop in place. The only thing you may have to do is open up the top brackets to fit around the larger core. I put one in my red car, but I cannot remember if that was the part number.

The saga continues... Sent the "Transpro" carparts.com sent me and tried to order a Modine online with Napa.. Couldn't order it online with Napa.. soooo into the local Napa, which is 30 min away.. They ordered it for $176 with tax... Picked it up today and got home with it.. pulled it out of the box.. and it's got a bunch of busted cooling fins.. Called NAPA.. they'll have a replacement for me on Tuesday.. Stay tuned.. (Someone up there doesn't want me to have a new radiator!)

Pull the next one out of the box at the NAPA store. I've always had very agreeable employees at NAPA about examining parts and returns when they don't fit or if there is any question. Been buying at NAPA since '68, not everything but a lot.

Just an update on this.. (I know it's 2 months later) Finally got the time to put the new 3 core in.. and I can confirm.. from a beginners stand point.. this is a drop in replacement.. and pretty easy.. just takes a little time..

Now all I have to do is find a replacement recovery bottle.. I've patched it with permatex for the time being and cleaned it out real good.. But it's got a bad crack up by the mounting holes.. above the hot full line..

Drill a hole at each end of the crack to keep it from spreading, and use clear RTV to repair the crack.

So far the radiator works awsome.. barely gets above 1/4 on the temp. gauge.. where it was normally half to 3/4 on temp gauge.. Tho the stock radiator I took out was pretty well blocked with calcium deposits.. So it's kind of an unfair test really.. All I know is it cools alot better now! Even while running the AC in 100 degree heat!

Only problem I have now is a cracked.. or warped t-stat housing. I must have dislodged the 5 lbs. of permatex the previous owner used to seal it with.. or possibly cracked the rusted housing when I was trying to free the upper radiator hose to replace it. Just got off the phone with Motion Dynamics and have an aluminum one on order.. should be here by Wed. or Thur. the latest!

I'll keep yah updated!
