I recently bought cobra r knockoffs 17 x 8 front, 17 x 9 rear and fitted big *** tires to the bird.

The car has 1 1/2 coils cut on all 4 corners and we managed to get plenty of clearance using a hammer, vice grips, and a piece of plywood. this usually calls for a baseball bat and rolling the car back and forth, but the car was up on jackstands.

i'll try to get a pic at the race in April. It's gonna look awesome.

I had 285-s on mine w/ 03 chrome cobra wheels,, I just had to take an angle grinder to the inside fender lip which I thought was better than the ol baseball bat trick ahha,,,now im just runnin 255's all around on my new turbo coupe w/the same o3 cobra wheels . lowered w/bbk sn95 springs , looks great.

Did you have to run a wheel spacer with this combination?  If so, how much?
