255 HP Fuel Pump...

Well basically I found out that the studdering in the high RPMs/Boost was that the fuel pump hose was letting fuel spray out back into the tank. Well that was with TWO hose clamps on the hose too... On the Pump itself where the hose connects there is no type of flare/groove for the hose to slide over. The piece is just perfectly flat/round. So my question is what did you guys use to keep that hose on there really good? Was your pump like this also? The Brand is a Walboro.

Pat, I think all I used was one clamp. Any chance the hose itself is split, or the pump housing? I've done a couple of these with no problem.

I'll check it again w/ a different hose. If it still leaks, what can I do about the pump housing? Would I be able to return it or something?

If it's the pump, try to return or exchange it.
