I'll actually have my car together by then. Drove it for the first time in a year this past week but it's not 100% finished. Drove to Durham and back so about 300 miles...ran like a top.

Great news! I'm about 10 minutes from Durham (depending on where you went), so if you come back to Durham, stop by for a beer....

Looks like the answer is 2 … 2 non- Mustangs.
I see the registration was extended for a week and I’m trying to take that as a sign to make it 3.
Is anyone else going?

Well, now, that's an outrage. You have my attention.

I might go down for a day but I doubt I'm going to register my car. I guess it can just sit outside.

Sounds good. I should have my car back by then. Have to order a transmission on Sept 5, as that's when they'll have some back in stock.

Made it to Carlisle and back with no issues. Tried to take it to a Cars and Coffee on July 1, and it wouldn't shift out of 1st. Took it in, and they said you need a new one....
Yeah, really pissed of..... but it is what it is.

Yeah, really pissed of..... but it is what it is. They said you need a new…transmission? Sorry for coming into this one late, but is it a T5OD or the dreaded automatic? If it’s the former no worries, I’ve rebuilt several, not hard to do.
Having said that and re-reading your post, I would bet that it’s an automatic. Ouch.
Another proud dues-paying member.
1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....
