I can't help but show off my new DD, plus it's hilarious to me that a new 2.3T is back in the Ranger.  It's a DOHC direct injection, twin scroll turbo, 310 ftlbs @ 3000 rpm and 270 HP, it's slow off the line but it moves effortlessly after that with the 10 speed 10R80 automatic. 87 octane is all that's recommended which is stunning.

Good timing, the planned year for the Ranger refresh is already out there, I think it's 2022 or 2023.

Powerful and very beautiful.. Could you have a chance to test it on off-road terrain yet? I wonder how effective it is on off-road. Honestly I'm kinda jealous now.. Big Grin I was planning to buy one at the end of this summer however I have a property for sale in Barcelona that I have to sell first. I was expecting to sell it by the end of the August but I couldn't sell so seems like I will need to wait for a couple of months more..

Yeah I have played around a bit. I can only describe it as outstandingly capable off road. I had a jeep before that I traded in, the Ranger is definitely better. 4hi and no loss of traction or slip on stuff my jeep would have been dragging its skids and sliders needing 4low.
