2-step and drag radials

Ive been seeing that several people on here are running 2-steps and drag radials. Im just curious as to how the transmission is holding up to the added stress and what weak points have you found in the car while using this setup?
87 TurboCoupe - silver, 137k, 5-speed, 3.73, 5 lug swap, MM... Evertything, 03 Cobra Brakes, Griggs Subframe connectors, Bo 1.5, Big Valves, massaged 79 turbo head, Essy Cam Gear, Boblog + Elbow, .63 T-3, Stinger Exhaust/FMIC

I'd assume the torque boxes would be the first to suffer from such Big Grin

The 2 times that mine broke it was an axle. I believe that my car is the only one to brake axles so far. Someone on TF with a ranger broke a T5 output shaft. Bob hurt the torque boxes with ET Streets, bias ply tires. Don't let it scare you, go for it.

2 step and 26x11.5 et streets. 200+ launches and zero problems. Just let the clutch cool between runs or it won't last.
NO TC and NO headaches.
