2 quick questions

This past weekend I got my new motor in my 88 bird and removed the EGR when I did so because the copper line was cracked. I made a cover for the intake with a homemade gasket and sealed it up tight and got a plug for the exhaust manifold, then I plugged the vacuum line into the tree. Is that correct for the vacuum line or should I just have plugged it as well?

Second Question revolves around my oil feed line. Basically I need a new one, is there anywhere that sells these already bent or do I have to bend it myself? Also, wouldnt braided line work well for this too and be much easier to route to the turbo?

1. If you are talking the vac line that went to the EGR diaphram, just plug it. Don't plug it into the tree.

2. Oil lines available from Ford.

I went to the dealer today and got a feed line ordered, I was suprised that it only cost me $19.54, he is going to try to find the 90 degree elbow on top of the turbo for me too so I dont have to go all over town looking...I currently rigged up a 45 degree elbow with the old line because I couldnt find a 90 anywhere. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys.

DOH!!

Ford called me today and said they are backordered....I went and got some braided line and intend to have it running again friday. I would have had it going tonight but I couldnt find a 5/16 fitting for the stock location so I am going to end up making one out of a T and still use the stock sending unit.
