Hey! I got 2 questions.
#1. Does Dynomax still make a kit for the TC? If not, who sells a PI kit, that Y's to 2.5in or greater?
#2. Who still offers Lowering springs? If you have experienced them, are they worth it (handling vs. ride quality loss)?

1. I think that Dynomax offers a catback for the FOX mustang that is 2.5". They don't have any kits with larger piping though. Check out their site at Dynomax
2. There are no major companies still producing lowering springs for the TC so you'll have to get springs from another for another car (SN95 mustang vert) or try and find a used set of Eibach lowering springs for the TC. As far as finding springs from other mustangs, check the archives here and at TurboFord as there have been countless threads talking about them.

The handling difference with eibach lowering springs is night and day. The car handles much better and is much more predictable during loose or sideways conditions. It is stiffer but not what i would consider too stiff, and if you switch it to autoride is actually a very comfortable ride, stiff springs and soft shocks goes over the bumps very well. My programmable ride control switch wasnt working correctly and was in auto mode and i went over bumps at highway speeds and it felt like my dads 2001 330 BMW(i am not saying it handles as good as a BMW on winding roads but damn good), now i know how a car handles good but smooth over bumps (personally i like firm mode best especially for cornering conditions), more feel of the road. I recommend them, but good luck finding them, check ebay and i might be selling a set of eibach fronts and cut stock rears which handle great, because i just bought a complete set of eibachs, but i need the time to do the work. Ebay, second set i saw in about 2-3 months. Also try turboford.com i think thats the website, alot of these guys know it, i normally just go to this one.

What does the car's stance look like with the Eibachs on it? Got any pics? Is ride height the same?

Kev, i believe it is a 1" to 1.5" drop pretty much the same stance as far a front and rear comparison height only lower. I think it makes the car look bad ass. Even my chevy loving friends were impressed, to me it gives the car a nice look and the stock wheel and tire package works fine thats what i have now, but i would recommend 50 series tires for better handling and looks. I have been meaning to put pictures up since i got this car in September. I will take some pictures and post them with info about my car.

Would you happen to have the exact part number for the eibachs that you used? I alreay have 45 series tires on my 88 tc and I love how it handles, but the gap between the fender and the rubber I could do without. I'm looking to do some work on my bird after christmas so I'm trying to get together the parts. Thanks

I forget the part # off hand but i will check it out. they are the Eibach Pro Kit (progressive rate) for a 87-88 tbird turbo coupe or V6 tbird. The only springs the ever offered for our car, if you look at there website just search for eibach, you will also see a Eibach sportline kit which they never offered for our cars. They dont sell the eibachs for our car anymore, as you probably already know, and the mustang eibach spring ratings are alot softer.
