2.3 To 5.0 Conversion

I am looking as a summer project, to rip out my almost dead 2.3 turbo 4 cyl in my turbo coupe, and drop in a 5.0 V-8, what would be involved in this project, keeping in mind i already have a T-5 transmission in the turbo coupe.

This guy built a twin turbo small block ford 86? t-bird. He also built a 351 twin supercharged motor in a 87 or 88 t-coupe. The guy does amazing work. Could be a good place to start.

You need to contact Ed Marsh at Windsor-Fox. He's 'anoblefox' on this site. He's got a completely factory looking 5.0 in his TC, and with all his 5.0 conversion experience, he'd be the guy to ask. Get out your money, it'll cost twice whatever you're guessing.

All living in my 40X72X12 shop. Sweet.

My swap was gonna cost me about $700, a $100 parts '87 5.0 Thunderbird, $300 LSC Lincoln, a $100 Mustang computer to run it, and approx $200 misc. It was when I decided to install a fresh built, aluminium headed engine that tore me a new one.
