The question is what do you have done to go along with a race cam? Lets see a mods list to better help with the cam choice.

The blocks been bored .20 with new forged dished pistons, Rods have been race preped with arp bolts, and the crank was race preped also with arp studs installed in the block. The heads an 85 TC unit that's been ported and had a big valve kit installed, I've got an intake from an 87 TC that's been ported and gutted on the upper and ported on the lower. I'm using a log stly header with an HX30 turbo (want too run between 24-28 psi of boost), LA3 comp with 35# injectors (what do i need too run bigger injectors) and a big VAM unit with a custom cold air kit, i've got an adj cam gear, I'm going too use a serp style belt on it if i can (the cars got no PS or AC on it now, just an alt) with an underdrive pulley, 3" DP into a custom dual 2.5" exhaust system, Also i'm using a kerbin afpr on it and a inline 255 lph pump(stock tanks gone and now running a pro-street style feul cell. The cars a 5 spd car also.

I want too be able too make as much power as i can out of it, the cars mostly going too be a race car, but may see a little street from time too time. Thanks for any advice you guys can give on a cam or any other things i need too do or change.

The cars also gone under some serous weight reduction also and it has the front brakes convertion from a 91 GT mustang with 5 lug rotors and 94-95 lakewood 70/30 struts with a coil-over kit installed up front and a 8.8 rearend from a 91 GT that's been narrowed 2.5" on both sides and has 5 lug axles and has detriot locker and 3.73 gears. I modified the inner wheel wells and put a set of weld prostars on it (15x4 up front and 15x10 on the rear with 165r15's and 28x12.50 E/T streets

Good grief, that sounds pretty awesome! To run bigger injectors, I believe you can go to 42# injectors with the stock computer, but with a stand alone system or the eec tuner, you would be able to tune the injectors better or go with bigger injectors to fit your application and horsepower needs. Be sure to keep us posted on some numbers when you get to the track. What kind of weight reduction have you performed?

I've taken out all the carpeting and sound deadner and put in some blacket carpeting from monards (the stuff used use too cover a subwoofer box), I took out the power front seats and rear seat and put in a set of summit race buckets and custom seat frames. Sence the cars a mostly track car and will only be driven on the street once in a while i removed all the climet controlles and box from under the dash. I wired in a simple fuse box too operate the lights and turn signals and such as well as put in autometer guages. I also took out the heavy inner front bumper and fabed up a bace too help hold the form of the lower bumper cover and made some brackets for the driving light too attach too. I've also addred a D&D tubular K-member and arms too go with the coil-over kit. I took out anything from under the hood that didn't need too be there out. It's got a fiberglass cowl hood on it and trunk lid. The weld prostars where also lighter than the 10 hole rims. The rears got SSM lift bars with tubular double adj upper arms and a ciol over kit. I removed the rear sway bar too. I'm going too later down the road add a set of fiberglass doors. The only wieght that was added was a 8pt roll cage and threw the floor frame connectors I did leave a Alpine cd player and alpine dash and rear speakers in it though. Oh i did lose some weight when i cut the rear inner wheel wells out and put new ones in too allow for the 15x10 wheels and narrowed rearend.

What all came with 42# injectors? I'm planning on having the car done by spring (should be done here in the next month or so) and have it at the track when they open back up for some times.
