zbird:

I managed to make contact with teh chap you mentioned.

After a discussion with my son we are going to skip a local car show ( sponsored by a "Bow-Tie" Dealer any way - LOL ) and use the budgeted "entry fees" for both the TC and SVO to go to the cost of a new Back glass molding.

FYI = Price is about 20% higher than when you purchased yours.

Positive side is that we live within 25 miles of where the part is stored. So we can make the drive and save the Shipping cost. Gas will cost about $7 Round trip with the TC. So we still come out ahead -

Thanks for the information from both my son and myself.

Have a great Weekend !!!!

I am going to ask around to see what would be the right way to Prep the molding on the quarters. It will obviously have to be something flexible like body putty or icing to fill the pits in. I probably wont tackle such a thing until I am ready to spray the whole car. It would make more sense to just wait until then. It will probably be my car's last summer I drive it. The suspension, 5 speed conversion, rearend, hood, header panel, front bumper cover and paint all needs done. Cant wait until its all finished lol

Ryan50, since I have two sets that need refurb, I may make that a project to tackle just to see of I can get them nice. Probably wait till fall to do it. I figure if I use body putty and sand smooth then repaint it should come out ok.

Yea Zbird, by all means post your results when you get the chance I would like to know! I am really curious to see how well it holds up too. Make a post when you do it, I'm sure I am not the only one who would like to know! Thanks

Yes but it will be a large flat box to ship. I have no idea how much it will cost.
