Is there a common wire that feeds the instrument cluster? I bought a tc last week and it has no oil pressure, coolant, voltz or gas gauge movement. My book doesn't show and wiring diagram for the dash. Any ideas?? Thanx

Possibly your instrument voltage regulator has gone completely dead.
88TC 5speed, 160,000+, ranger roller, Evergreen T3, cone filter, manual boost controller.
One parts car still waiting to be taken apart.
Waiting in the garage: SC throttle body, SC intercooler, graphic equalizer, among other things.

When those 3 guages don't work or go up and down in unison, it is the IVR as Jangus mentioned. The other possibility is the resistance power wire that feed the IVR. It can break.Check your email for schematic.

Thanx for the diagram.
I traced the wires back to the ignition switch and found the connector to the switch is melted. The ignition switch fell apart. Thats as far as I was able to get. So now I am looking for a ignition switch and the factory connector.

Thanx for the help Pete. I replaced the ignition switch and scorched wires associated with the ignition and it fixed the gauges.

I had a similar problem on my last TC. Do we know what cooks the connectors?
