Yes. As part of the test, the ECM closes the IAC. If the base idle is not set high enough, when the IAC closes, the car will stall.

Also, check to see if the wiring for the ignition module wiring is grounding out against the lower intake. This can cause an intermittent miss

Thanks, I will check the idle again. I checked the wiring for the ignition control module. It is well insulated.
