I’m looking for a 1987-88 OEM Ford Premium Sound AM/FM/Cassette Radio with the Balance Control slider on the front.

There were two models for those years: with Graphic Equalizer and without. The one that was paired with the Equalizer had a sliding Balance Control on its front...the other one had four Rotating Knobs (Bass, Treble, Balance Control and Front/Rear Fade).

While I would obviously prefer a working unit, depending on the issue I might consider a non-working (or partially working) one, that I could repair.

Please contact me through here, or at anasazi4st at mindspring dot com (please substitute the proper punctuation to replace the words).

Thanks in advance.

I have two of them, but both are missing the little external knob for the fader. The faders are still there and working, but that little external piece is gone.

So when you say Fader, you mean the sliding Balance Control? You’re missing the black rectangular piece with the vertical white line that shows the slider’s location?

And they both function okay?

Sorry I don’t mean to be a pain but do you have pictures?

How much? I only need one but since locating is such a problem I might be interested in both.

Great news! Thanks in advance for your reply.

That is correct. That piece is missing. Other than that, the radios were working fine when I removed them. I can not vouch for the cassette players. If you send me your email or a text number, I can send photos. Loading them on this site is............challenging. At least for me! Smile
